Strand 1:
Engaging in the
learning community
In the first three modules November 2012 and 2014), participants will:
  • articulate their key hopes, expectations and concerns as they embark on the programme;
  • reflect systematically on their individual learning preferences and needs;
  • acquire knowledge of the most important psychological and sociological dimensions of leadership and teamwork within organisations;
  • gain a deeper understanding of their own leadership, coaching and consulting styles;
  • form an active learning community that is in accordance with the values and goals of the programme;
  • use the outdoors to experience forming, learning and leading exercises;
  • may be accredited with an APEL (accreditation of prior and experiential learning) which exempts them from certain sections of the Masters programme.
