An invoice will be sent to your contact address as soon as your participation has been formally approved. A first installment is required no later than four weeks before the programme starts, or immediately for candidates allowed to participate within four weeks of the beginning of the programme. The participation fee for the 2011-2013 programme is 24,000 Euro per participant and is payable in three installments (August 2011, 2012 and 2013). This covers tuition, course materials and all food and beverages that are provided during programme hours. The participation fee does not include travel expenses or hotel costs related to a participant's stay in Istanbul nor any personal consumptions used outside the program's teaching hours. Partial and full scholarships are available for those working in the public or non-profit sectors in return for participation in work for the learning community after graduating from the programme. Graduation is not possible if the candidate has not fulfilled his/her agreed upon financial obligations.

If a participant fails to attend the programme withoutgiving any prior written notice, 100% of the fees will be charged to the participant in question. In case of a less than three-week notice, this is 75% of the fees. In case of cancellation between six and three weeks before the start of the programme, 50% of the fees will be charged. If a participant decides to leave the programme while it is running, none of the participation fee will be refunded. Requests for transfer to a later programme within six weeks before the programme begins, are subject to a transfer fee of 30% of the programme fee. Withdrawal or transfer of this consequent booking will result in the full 100% charge.

MCCLO is pleased to accept a substitute participant from the same organisation if he/she has comparable experience and development objectives and provided there is sufficient time for the new participant to complete any necessary pre-programme preparation work. MCCLO reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the programme while it is running if the candidate turns out to be incompatible with the way the programme works. In this case, there will be no refund of already fulfilled financial obligations but also no further payments will be required.
